Their first visit to The Enchanted Garden.

Back to safety in numbers - sticking together.

Phew, we're exhausted by our adventure so it's time for some quality snoozing.

Ok mum - I'll pose for just one more photo and then I really do need to get some rest.

Giving Thanks

The Summer fairy is busily checking the garden for signs of Autumn and there are plenty to be found.

Although today has been delightfully sunny with a warm and gentle breeze, the mood in the garden has changed. I feel that there is something different, a final flourish of flowers and lots of berries and fruit on the trees. The sun's light is more subdued, setting earlier now and darkness falling sooner but how I love these late summer days.

My little damson tree has flourished and is laden down with beautiful fruit, the colour overlaid with a pale bloom.

I draped the branches with pretty things in thanks for such a harvest.

Why restrict our tree decorating to the Winter Solstice or Christmas and unlike a chopped-down fir, this tree will live to see many more seasons.

I want to make some damson gin and imagine the colour will look like the most precious of jewels when it is ready to enjoy.

Nature is so generous with her gifts.

My beautiful boy sits beneath the branches, the dappled sunshine lighting up his face. He loves to be in the garden with me and is never far from my side.

Time for tea

It's time for tea - fairy style.

Would you like to sip blackberry wine from a tiny goblet?

How about a morsel of cake from the tiny golden dish......

The cutlery is mother of pearl for the ultimate, fairy luxury.

A brass jug filled with delicate flowers adorns your place setting and just look who will be keeping you company.

Isn't she delightful.

Make yourself comfortable and enjoy.

Meet Flossie and Clarence...

The latest family members......this is Clarence.

and his sister Flossie.

They came into our lives and melted our hearts on Saturday.

A precious gift from my darling daughter to me.

We are besotted.....

How could we not be?

They are settling in and finding their paws.

And just look at their paws......they match her fur.

His are perfectly pink and deliciously unspoiled.

I wonder how long it will be before I have to move these from the bedroom windowsill - as yet they haven't been here but the livingroom window has been thoroughly explored.

Awwwww....................

My beautiful boy has licked them both sooooo much it's a miracle they aren't bald. They are completely unfazed by him as the family they came from had a huge, very maternal doggy.

They like the sofa.

Playtime.

I'm feeling sleepy now.

If only..............

If only we could wear glitter on our toes every day..........

and fly to the stars just once in our life........

Oh but we can - dust glitter on our feet before we put our shoes on and visit the stars in so many ways. Read all we can about them, dream about them and even have a star named after you.

All things are possible and until the time is right just use that wonderful instrument we all have that can take you there - Imagination.

Have fun, dream, laugh, love and above all never forget to play.

Dip your toes into glitter, dance under the stars and enjoy all that life has to offer.
