Time to move

Kitchen 'helpers'

Hmmm.......it's good to have some much needed help in the kitchen.  There's a roast dinner to prepare, cook and serve up, but I'm in luck. I have many willing furbies under my feet, on the table, chairs and anywhere else they can climb up to now. Not to mention their willingness to sample the roast chicken when it came out of the oven.  They were flat out snoozing their heads off when it came to the washing up though....surprise, surprise. I really need to take a leaf out of their book now, relax, put my feet up and look through some old Christmas copies of Victoria magazine.  Bliss.

Good things

Good things don't have to cost very much at all. A new pot of glittery nail polish and a delicious book from Amazon. Simple pleasures are the best.

Bittersweet

He's gone to a lovely new home, adopted by a friend of my daughter who doesn't live very far away and yet still I cried when he went. I am such a sentimental fool, knew the day had to come but it hasn't made it any easier to part with him.  Bye bye sweet boy, enjoy your new life. xx

Changes

This little one goes to his new home tomorrow - I am sad :(

In the garden

I love the intensity of colour and contrast of light and shade. The animals were happy too, they always love it when we are out and about in the garden.
