Trio of Flower Girls

Greetings from the flower girls! Phew have I been busy ~ but a lovely kind of busy, my favourite kind, the creative kind.
I so enjoy making these, quite addictive really, so many ideas buzzing around in my head. I have quite a large family of them now - oh the potential for mischief!!!!!!

Dolls are Everywhere !!!!!!!!!

Dolls are everywhere at the moment.

On shelves....

Oh I had fun making these and arranging them around the house.

I've put some more into my Folksy shop - I need the space!!!!!!!

 I love making things ~

Fairy Cakes

I made two dozen of these today. The decorations are white chocolate and remind me of tiny witches hats.

The weather has been really blustery and we even had some hail hitting the windows. Despite this I ventured into the garden and picked these gorgeous roses. I love the colour and such a lovely treat so late in the year.

The few sprigs of Lavender smell nice too.

Butterflies and Glitter

From Ikea - simple little sets of drawers with so much potential for decoration. I cut the butterflies out of a magazine and sprinkled vintage style mica flakes over the top. The rest of the drawers are coated with a layer of very fine glitter.
The nicest thing about these is they can be used in any room in the house and seem to fit in with any kind of decorating style. Mine are in the bedroom and I keep lots of tiny treasures in them.
