Winter Garden

I have been to visit my family and whilst there we had lots of heavy frosts and a light fall of snow.

The primroses continue to flower but look as though someone gently sprinkled them with icing sugar.

A little seasonal whimsy.
The holly looked extra special with droplets of ice clinging to the scarlet berries.
I love how everything is transformed.
The greenest of leaves turned icy blue and grey.
Closely clipped hedges glistening and glittering in the low winter sun.
Hungry visitors nibbling bread at the bird table.
Taking their fill and flying off to sit on the nearby branches to enjoy their bounty.
Each one a delight to watch from the warmth of the kitchen.
The water in the bird bath frozen solid.
Magical!
Enjoy the rest of the photo's.

Until next time,
Bye for now,
