Happy Halloween

Autumn moments

Today the weather has been incredibly beautiful.  The sun was glorious, shining down from a clear blue sky decorated with fluffy white clouds.  Such an uplifting day.

There is still plenty of colour left in the garden too.

In the kitchen

One of my favourite things to do when I am cooking a meal is to shut the kitchen door, put on some music, have a pot of tea at the ready and the fur babies asleep in their cosy spots. Yesterday was one such day. I made lasagne and a carrot cake ready for the family get together last night.  Just the simple pleasure of gathering together, enjoying a meal, a few drinks and a dvd.

Anyway, back to the kitchen.  A candle lit on the table was a magnet to the kittens, like moths to a flame, they just can't resist investigating everything and this was no exception.

My beautiful boy was happy to snuggle down on his blankie's although at the moment he has an upset tum so is feeling a little delicate.

I love candlelight too!!!!!!!!!!!! Magical gorgeousness.

Naturally I always have my camera at the ready to record such prettiness.

And I always play around with different settings, trying out various effects.

Mmmmm I love the way that he is sitting so neatly, I must get a photo of him.

Oooooo this is cute as cute, a tentative paw reaches out.

As I was saying, my most favourite thing to do is to shut the kitchen door, cook a meal and enjoy the distractions :))
