Blue skies

An afternoon in the garden with my latest knitting project, the furbies around enjoying the warmth and tiny alpine strawberries ripe for the picking.  They are fiddly to pick but well worth the effort.  An evening walk up the lane with Dante was  pleasant and as always refreshing to the spirit.  The elderflowers look so good right now that I think I may just make some elderflower fizz, a delicious, refreshing drink that reminds me of when we first moved to the Shropshire countryside over 27 years ago.  I made elderflower fizz for the very first time and fell in love with this old-fashioned country drink. I love the feeling of making something from the free and abundant fruits (and flowers) of nature.
